Gordon Strong Automobile Objective

Frank Lloyd Wright was an enthusiastic car user all his life, and that taste was also reflected in his architecture. One of his designs in which this passion for the cars is more evident is the Gordon Strong Automobile Objective

In recent months I have been collaborating with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in the recreation of this, one of my favorite designs. It’s been a great experience, in which I have had the opportunity to work with fantastic people, who share with me the same love for architecture and very especially for the work of Frank Lloyd Wright.

This work can be seen in the upcoming issue of the Frank Lloyd Wright Quarterly magazine

The magazine focuses on the design for Gordon Strong but includes views of three other works strongly related to the automobile:

Butterfly Wing Bridge, Valley National Bank, and Roy Wetmore Car Repair and Showroom, all of them spectacular designs but, for different reasons never came to be built.
